Job Description:

The E-commerce Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of customer orders and the overall efficiency of an online store. This position focuses on managing order workflows, coordinating fulfillment, and providing exceptional customer support, while also supporting content creation and team collaboration. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, is passionate about delivering a seamless e-commerce experience, and has a willingness to learn.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing and Fulfillment:

  • Accurately process customer orders, ensuring all details are verified and updated in the system.
  • Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders. 
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Monitor shipping schedules, track deliveries, and resolve delays or issues promptly.
  • Oversee returns, exchanges, and refunds, ensuring adherence to company policies and customer satisfaction.
  • Input order details into Shipstation/Shopify/Lightspeed to track inventory and shipment status. 

Customer Support:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, delivery, and product issues.
  • Resolve order-related complaints quickly and professionally to maintain customer trust.

Content Creation and Video Marketing:

  • Develop and create compelling video content to showcase products, highlight promotions, and engage target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create videos tailored for various platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
  • Stay updated on video marketing trends and recommend creative strategies to boost audience engagement.

 

Your Skills & Qualifications

E-commerce:

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar.
  • Understanding of online order processing, fulfillment workflows, and inventory management.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication for customer support and cross-team collaboration.

Organization and Problem-Solving:

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, including order processing and content deadlines.
  • A detail-oriented approach to resolving issues and identifying improvements.

Adaptability and Creativity:

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
  • A creative mindset to innovate and enhance content strategies and marketing campaigns.

Sewing Skills (A Huge Plus):

  • Knowledge of sewing techniques.
  • Ability to demonstrate sewing methods in product videos or tutorials for marketing purposes.
  • An understanding of fabric types and usage

 

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience with inventory management systems a plus

Experience with an e-commerce platform a plus

Experience with sewing a HUGE plus
