Baby Lock's Pathfinder Embroidery Machine is the ideal machine to get you started on your artistic journey. This machine offers new creative opportunities for both novices and experts. The Pathfinder features Baby Lock IQ Technology™ that works with the machine's "brain" to make embroidery easier, 263 built-in designs, an 8" by 12" embroidery field, a needle beam, and much more. With all of the features packed into the Pathfinder Embroidery Machine, this machine makes it easy to bring your vision to life.
Love of Sewing Membership (Optional)

This membership is a comprehensive service, support, and maintenance program that protects your machine for an additional four years. You get yearly maintenance and support from Baby Lock-certified technicians, so you’ll never have to worry while you sew. Stay current on the latest tips and tricks with unlimited access to Baby Locks online SewEd Classes taught by Baby Lock Education experts. Babylock currently has over 2,000 classes, with new ones being introduced regularly! Your membership has three components: Love of Knowledge, the Service Program, and the Savings Opportunities. Needle Beam
Never drop your needle in the wrong position again when using the needle beam. The included embroidery foot produces a bright LED dot that shows you exactly where your needle will go. There's no more guesswork with this feature.
Sensor Pen for Automatic Positioning
Use the Sensor Pen to assign design positioning and placement. Touch the fabric with the Sensor Pen, and the Pathfinder knows where to place the design. You can see the needle position and select the precise placement of your design.
263 Built-In Designs
Included with the Pathfinder are 166 Baby Lock exclusive designs, 140 frame combinations, and 19 font styles. The library features large thumbnails to make finding the right match even more accessible. You can also upload your own designs using a USB drive or by connecting directly to your computer.
LCD Color Touchscreen
The Pathfinder has a large, color LCD screen that vividly displays embroidery designs and makes it easy to change your machine settings. This screen measures 7" diagonally and shows up to 260,000 colors, so you will know what your designs look like before you sew. As an added convenience, it also shows the date and time.
Enhanced Stadium Lighting
You won't miss a stitch with the high-powered color-rendering LEDs. Every detail on your embroidery projects will be lit up, and these bright LEDs will reduce eye strain and fatigue. The Stadium Lights illuminate a 10" area around the needle.
IQ Technology
Your Pathfinder is equipped with IQ Technology that makes sewing easy, no matter what you want to create. The automatic sensors make everything a breeze. There are thread tension controls that make tension adjustments for accurate stitches, upper and lower thread sensors to alert you when threads run out, and an on-screen hoop sensor to recommend the correct sized hoop.
NeverMiss Automatic Needle Threader
The Baby Lock Pathfinder features Baby Lock's NeverMiss needle threader. With all of the color changes that you'll be doing while you're creating stunning embroidery, it's a feature that you definitely need. With the touch of a button, your machine effortlessly threads your needle each and every time.
Large Embroidery Field
Baby Lock's Pathfinder has one of the largest embroidery fields compared to other home machines. It can embroider up to an 8" x 12" area and comes with two hoops. With this vast area, you will enjoy less re-hooping so you can finish your projects faster.
Embroidery Editing Functions
The Pathfinder is packed with advanced editing features for your embroidery designs. You can resize designs up 20% or down 10%, auto baste, color sort on the border, monochrome, duplicate, and more. With all these editing functions, you can customize your design as much as you wish. The Pathfinder also has auto stipple, color visualizer, color sorting, design grouping, and multi-selection functions.
25-Year Limited Warranty
The Baby Lock Pathfinder comes with a factory warranty, which gives you the ultimate piece of mind with your purchase. Your machine will be covered for 25 years to be free of defects in product casting due to imperfections in workmanship and materials. 10 years covers your machine from defective mechanical parts due to imperfections in workmanship and materials, excluding normally expendable parts. 2 years covers your machine from defects in the electrical equipment. 1 year covers it from defects in the electronic circuit boards and 1 year of free warranty labor by an Authorized Baby Lock Retailer.
