hat type of bobbin does it use?
It uses Class 15 bobbins. Always ensure you use standard Class 15 bobbins, as using the wrong size can damage the machine.
Can it sew heavy fabrics like denim or canvas?
The Zest's motor is geared primarily for lightweight and medium-weight fabrics. While it can handle hems on jeans, it may struggle with multiple layers of thick canvas or heavy upholstery.
Can I lower the feed dogs for free-motion sewing?
The feed dogs on the Zest cannot be dropped. Instead, you must use a darning plate (which covers the feed dogs) to achieve free-motion stitching.
