Want to learn how to save your sentimental t-shirts and make them into something new? Join us for this 5-week T-Shirt Quilt class, and we will show you how a pile of old shirts can turn into a cozy and sentimental quilt.

Each week, students will focus on a different step of the process in making a t-shirt quilt. As such, we highly encourage students to make sure they are available for all 5 dates before registering.

Materials:

  • at least 13 t-shirts*
  • 10 yards of SF 101 fusible interfacing
  • thread to match your quilt
  • 2 yards of backing fabric (regular quilting cotton or flannel are fine)
  • 1 yard of quilting cotton for binding
  • batting

*students are advised to use t-shirts that do not have sentimental value for their very first t-shirt quilt; it can be a steep learning curve, and it is best to do a test quilt first.

This is an intermediate level class; we do NOT recommend this class for those brand new to sewing or quilting.

When & Where:

Sacramento, Jan. 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, and Feb. 2nd from 1pm-4pm

Instructor:

Brenda D.
