Quick-Set, Drop-in Bobbin

No more struggling to feed the bobbin thread up through the needle plate! With a quick-set drop-in bobbin, all you have to do is place the wound bobbin into the case and run the thread through the designated groove; the BL220B will do the rest when you begin sewing.

Auto Pilot Sewing

This Brilliant Computerized Sewing Machine can sew all by itself. By unplugging the foot control (foot pedal), you can use the start/stop button, conveniently located just over the needle area. Press this button when you are ready to start sewing and again when you are ready to stop. Use the speed control slider to adjust the speed from low to medium to high. The BL220B can sew up to 850 stitches in just 60 seconds.

Free Arm & Storage

The free arm is a must-have for hemming sleeves and pant legs. Remove the auxiliary bed to access the machine's free arm. Located inside the removable auxiliary bed are two convenient storage compartments! Store presser feet, seam rippers, and tools and carry them with you to sewing classes and group crafting sessions.

Knee Lifter

The knee lifter is easy to install and use. This lever allows you to raise the presser foot with your knee so you can keep your hands on the fabric and make directional adjustments. Use the knee lifter when free motion quilting.

Decorative Stitch Editing Features

Combine decorative stitches to create your own unique stitch patterns! Combine letters with your decorative stitches and save them to the machine's memory. Other editing functions include repeat, mirror, and pattern elongator.

Push Button Features

The Babylock Brilliant comes loaded with seven one-touch buttons. Start and stop sewing, position the needle up or down, cut your thread, reverse sew, lift your presser foot, cut your thread, and control your speed, all with just the push of a button. All these features allow you to easily and quickly navigate your machine.

Drop Feed

The feed dogs are the small sets of teeth that come up through the needle plate and pull your fabric through the sewing machine. For free motion sewing, you can lower the feed dogs; this gives you the freedom to move your fabric in any direction you choose. Drop the feed dogs to free motion quilt, freehand embroidery, and sew on buttons.
