342 Embroidery Designs
The 342 embroidery designs on your Bloom will ensure that you never run out of ideas. There are 15 built-in fonts available (including block and special script), as well as florals, borders, seasonal pictures, animals, festive patterns, and exclusive Baby Lock designs. This free PDF contains a comprehensive list of designs that you can view. If none of these solutions satisfy your needs, you can create your own patterns and upload them to your system.
251 BUILT-IN STITCHES
Never miss a stitch with the 251 built-in options to choose from on the Bloom. This versatile machine has everything from utility stitches to decorative stitches, one-step buttonholes, fonts, and more. You can even save stitch patterns that you have customized in the machine's memory or USB flash drive.
ADVANCED NEEDLE THREADER
Threading your needle on the Bloom is so easy you can do it with one hand! With just a few easy steps, your needle is threaded and ready to go, so no more straining your eyes or struggling to fit your thread through the eye of the needle. You can use the threader on needle sizes 75/11 through 100/16, but it cannot be used on wing or twin needles. When using transparent nylon monofilament or specialty threads, it's not recommended that you use the needle threader.
PUSH-BUTTON FEATURES™
One-touch buttons make it simple to choose your settings on the Baby Lock Bloom. The seven operational controls allow you to position the needle up or down, cut thread, reverse stitch, reinforce stitches, raise and lower the presser foot, adjust the sewing speed, and start/stop sewing.
CUTS JUMP STITCHES
Consider how long it takes to cut jump threads off carefully. Even when taking the time to be meticulous, it might be challenging to completely remove the entire jump stitch. Because you can't get close enough, little threads still stick up, no matter how sharp your snips are. Instead of cutting threads after each color, allow the Bloom to make your cuts in the middle of each segment. Your embroidery will be cleaner than ever as a result of the thread no longer crossing the hoop or your design while changing positions.
THREAD COLOR SORTING
Save time when embroidering with the color sort key. Anytime you are embroidering the same design more than once in the same hoop, the color sort key rearranges your embroidery order, so you don't have to stop for thread changes as often.
ON-SCREEN EDITING
Babylock's Bloom allows you to edit almost any aspect of your designs with the built-in software. You can resize up 20% and down 10%, rotate, edit fonts, move, create mirror images, and more directly on the LCD screen. As you make these changes, you can see them update live on the screen. Other editing functions include the ability to adjust your thread colors, edit each character individually, and change spacing and fonts.
Optional Palette Software
With Baby Lock's new Palette 11 Embroidery Software, you'll be able to create and edit embroidery designs easier than ever before. This advanced software takes your machine embroidery capabilities to the next level. You'll enjoy premium auto-digitizing, easy design editing, new patterns, and more. The Palette 11 offers improved functionality that makes every step of digitizing easier, and the new interface makes it easier than ever to use.
FREE-ARM
Remove the auxiliary bed in the Bloom to access the free arm or lower your feed dogs. This narrow arm is used to hem cylindrical textiles such as shirt sleeves and pant legs.
Knee Lifter
Using the knee lifter, you can raise and lower the presser foot with your knee, leaving both hands free to handle the fabric.
LED Lighting
Never miss a stitch with the ultra-bright LED lights located above the needle. These bright lights will help reduce eye strain and keep you sewing longer.
Built-in Storage
The Bloom is equipped with an accessory storage compartment. Located in the auxiliary bed are handy compartments that can hold extra presser feet, bobbins, needles, and a seam ripper.
LARGE EMBROIDERY FIELD
Everyone knows that having to re-hoop is an annoying task; that's why Babylock gave this machine a sizable 5" x 7" (180mm × 130mm) embroidery field. Enjoy the ability to stitch bigger and faster embroidery designs with the Baby Lock Bloom stitching up to 650 stitches per minute. Supported embroidery file types: .pes, .phc, and .dst.
QUICK-SET, TOP-LOADING BOBBIN
Changing your Class 15 bobbin just got more manageable on the Baby Lock Bloom. This sewing and embroidery machine features a built-in bobbin winder as well as a quick-set feature. All you have to do is drop your bobbin into the machine and guide your thread through the slot, and the machine will take care of the rest.
Design Database Transfer
Managing your embroidery designs has never been easier! Download Design Database Transfer, a FREE data management tool, to easily view embroidery designs in your library and transfer designs wirelessly to your Baby Lock Vesta with a WiFi connection.
This software allows you to easily move .pes, .phc, .phx, and .dst files to your machine while also organizing your design library. You can create new folders, transfer/copy files to new locations, change file names, or delete files you no longer need. Quickly search for an embroidery design by title, format, stitch count, size, etc. Review embroidery design info such as size, estimated sewing time, and number of colors.
Wifi Enabled
By using Design Database Transfer, you can easily send your embroidery designs from your computer to the Bloom using WIFI or USB. Also, when the WLAN connection is enabled, you will receive notifications when new updates are available for your Baby Lock Bloom embroidery machine.

How do I transfer designs?
