About this experience

This class is designed for the Confident Beginner or Intermediate quilter. Learn to cut, sew, and finish a small quilt using only three yards of fabric for the top. This is a 5 session class.

Supply List:

  • Sewing Machine, foot control, power cord, 1/4" piecing presser foot.
  • Mettler 50wt/2ply Silk-finish cotton thread in a neutral color - beige or gray
  • Empty bobbin
  • Basic Sewing Supplies: Thread Snips, Seam ripper, extra bobbin
  • Rotary Cutter, 45mm
  • Rotary Cutting ruler, 6" X 24" or 6.5" X 24"
  • Rotary Cutting mat, 24" X 18" or larger
  • 1 yard each of three coordinating fabrics for the top
  • Backing will require one 3-yard piece
  • Batting will be discussed in class
