Remote Computer Screen (RCS)

Operation buttons are located on the remote computer screen (RCS) and include start/stop, auto-thread cutter, trace, jog buttons, carriage return, stitch back, stitch forward, bobbin winder, bobbin winder indicator, and several touch panel keys. The touch panel keys include the menu key to select a mode (such as design selection, monogramming, editing, etc.), the open file key, the SET key for my setting mode, the Help key for a movie menu, page keys to view previous and next page, and arrow keys for direction.

Sub-Control Panel

The sub-control panel presents basic buttons for machine function that can be used to operate the machine without the RCS. Use the mode button to filter through the stitch count setting, color section setting, needle bar number setting, pattern selection, and the ready-to-sew mode. The trace button is used to trace the outline of the design without stitching. Arrow buttons are used in the ready-to-sew mode. You can also turn the LCD brightness, adjusting the dial to increase/decrease brightness.

Embroider at 800SPM

Create significant and detailed designs at up to 800 stitches per minute. The MB4S is a dependable 4-needle embroidery machine that allows you to sit back, watch, and appreciate its independence.

Front Loading

The MB4S features a front-loading, full rotary hook. Bobbin changes are a snap with this front-loading bobbin system. You don't even have to remove the hoop. The vertical hook makes bobbin insertion quick and simple.

Bobbins | Bobbin Winding

The MB4S uses large M-style bobbins that hold 1.4 times the thread than a standard L-style bobbin. This means more stitches per bobbin. Use the independent bobbin winder to keep multiple bobbins on hand to have the perfect thread color for every project! You never have to worry about overfilling your bobbin; the machine automatically stops when it detects that your bobbin is full.

Thread Brand Selection

Match specific thread colors accurately with the thread brand selection feature, which includes brands such as Janome, Robison-Anton, Madeira, and Mettler.

LED Lighting

The Janome MB4S comes with four bright LED lights to illuminate your work area. Compared to conventional lighting, LED lighting provides brighter and shadow-free illumination. Power-saving and eco-friendly LED bulbs are a more innovative solution altogether. LED bulbs don't put off much heat and last substantially longer than traditional sewing machine bulbs.

Spool Stand

On the spool stand, the 4 spool pins in the front row are for sewing, and the second-row spool pins are for the standby spools. Use the rearmost spool pin for bobbin winding. You can make your product anything from colorful to chic by putting together the colors you want to use. Having extra pins for additional thread choices means fewer thread changes so that you can finish your embroidery faster.
