Adjustable LED Lights

FLOAT FUNCTION (MICRO-LIFTER)
The micro-lifter can be a lifesaver when dealing with hard-to-feed fabrics. This advanced feature is something that you normally only see on industrial machines. The Float Function will prevent uneven sewing on quilts and velvet, as well as stretched stitches on knit fabrics. The presser foot "floats" 0 to 2mm above the material, making it useful for sewing over thick seams.

The Hayate has an increased range for the angle and direction for sewing tapering. For a tapering stitch pattern, the zigzag width can be set so that it is gradually increased at the start of sewing and is gradually decreased at the end of sewing. It's as easy as selecting the angle and direction. You may also set a stitch length in advance or store the length of the stitches that were sewn. By using the memory and inversion functions, star-shaped appliques are finished beautifully.

Effortlessly switch to perfect straight stitch sewing with Juki's revolutionary interchangeable Feed System. Create perfect stitches from beginning to end. By changing the machine's throat plate and feed dogs to straight stitch, you can sew edges and sharp curves. With the straight stitch plate, there will be no more pulling, bunching, or pushing fabrics into the needle opening. You'll get smooth handling for perfect piecing, close edges, curves, layers, and more.
Bobbin Thread Sensor
The JUKI DX-4500QVP helps you sew with added confidence thanks to its convenient bobbin thread sensor system. Using an optical sensor, the machine alerts you when the bobbin thread is running low, helping prevent unexpected thread interruptions in the middle of a seam, quilt block, or decorative stitch. You can even choose when you’d like to be notified, with settings for approximately 30, 100, or 200 remaining stitches. This thoughtful feature gives you better control over your workflow, so you can keep stitching smoothly without constantly stopping to check how much bobbin thread is left.
Buttonhole Stitches
Create beautiful buttonholes with the clamping plate and sensor. This provides a reliable feeding even on thick fabrics and seams, and automatically corrects the left and right seam densities. You get 20 buttonholes with the DX-4500QVP, including standard buttonholes, decorative, rounded ends, keyhole, and knit. The machine can sew buttonholes for buttons with diameters of 0.7 - 3.2 cm.
Drop Feed
The feed dogs can be raised and lowered with the press of a button. Perform free-motion quilting, free-hand embroidery, or curved seams with ease. When the feed dogs are not engaged, they "sink" below the needle plate, allowing you to move your fabric in any direction. So you no longer need to install a special darning plate to do free motion quilting!

Juki's Smart Feed is used when sewing fabrics (knit, jersey, vinyl cloth, artificial leather, etc.) that are generally hard to feed, or textiles (quilt, etc.) that are likely to cause uneven material feed. Engage the Smart Feed dual feed function to move the top layer of your fabric in sync with the lower layer. Adjust the feed amount by 0.2mm for beautiful stitching without the worry of shifting layered materials.
KNEE LIFTER
Take control of your fabric with the help of the included knee lifter on the DX-4500QVP. This hands-free option allows you to move the presser up or down without using your hands. This attachment is easy to install and comes in handy when pivoting fabric. Be careful you don't accidentally touch the knee lifting lever during sewing. If you press it, your foot will go up and ruin your seams.
