Does it have an automatic thread cutter?
No. The B 435 requires you to trim threads manually. (If you need an automatic cutter, consider the step-up B 475 QE).
Can I do free-motion quilting?
Yes. You can easily drop the feed dogs to perform free-motion techniques. However, it does not support the computerized Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR).
What size are the bobbins?
It uses Bernina's jumbo bobbins, which are front-loading and hold 70% more thread than standard bobbins.
